From Professor John Pless

I'm heading to South Africa tomorrow. I'll be teaching a two week intensive term course for students and pastors on "Topics in Lutheran Theology and Practice." Thanks to the generosity of the Southern Illinois District and President Scharr, I'll be taking copies of LETTERS TO LUTHERAN PASTORS VOL. I by Hermann Sasse for students and pastors. Rev. Wade Johnson & his Magdeburg Press gladly donated ten copies of THEN FELL THE LORD'S FIRE by Bo Giertz as well. With funds from other congregations, I've purchased several new books for the library. Pray for safe travel and a productive time of teaching and preaching in Pretoria. I'll try to add some updates and pictures along the way. JTP+
